Florilegium is a themed art and writing charity zine spearheaded by students from Batch 2022 of Philippine Science High School - Main Campus. Contributors submitted writing (in the form of poetry or short stories) and artworks (digital or traditional, scanned) to be included in the zine. Through the creation of this project, artists and writers will also be given the opportunity to showcase their work in a themed digital publication that will be sold online for charity.Florilegium 2020Florilegium launched in 2020 with its a 200-page zine featuring 40+ artworks and 25+ writing pieces from creators all over the country. Through the sale of this zine, the team was able to raise PhP 51,400 for Simply Hope's COVID Care project for the benefit of COVID-19 patients, YACAP #ReliefPH for the benefit of typhoon victims, and Kapit Bis16 for the benefit of tricycle drivers.Florilegium 2022The project's second run in 2022 was able to raise PhP 18,000 for the benefit of indigent patients in need of medical care and healthcare programs (ex. COVID-19 vaccination) for underserved communities. The 175-page zine featured 34 art pieces and 23 writing pieces from various student contributors.Florilegium 2023A third installment was released in 2023 through a 96-page zine, which featured 25 literary and art pieces on Philippine native flowers. The team was able to raise a total of PhP 16,569 from selling digital zines and print products. Proceeds were donated to PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. to cover medical expenses of charity patients in Philippine General Hospital.
